Formwork should be stripped carefully so that concrete is not damaged. Wedges etc. should be slackened gradually to avoid imposing sudden load to the structure. Stripping times are given below, which depend upon:
- Concrete strength
- Stress which may be set up in the concrete
- Curing
- Surface treatment requirements.
