Site Organisation

For the efficient execution of a project some acknowledged of organization and administration is required, This section introduces you to the various aspects of site organisation. As already mentioned, in detail, deal with issues overlapping to site organisation. 

Before Site Work Begins 

Before the site work begins, the site engineer makes  a study of the following  factors which have all important bearing  as the smooth execution of the project : 

  • Adjacent buildings - may cause obstruction or affect access to site. 
  • Ground surface - trees may have to be removed. 
  • Soil - already discussed, 
  • Site surrounded - whether fencing is required. 
  • Access road - whether temporary road should be built. 
  • Water supply - whether water is available  for construction. 
  • Materials - whether materials of construction are available locally. 
  • Labour - type of labour available locally. 
  • Amenities - whether. the site is isolated or all facilities are available nearby. 
  • Electric power and transport - whether available.
