The questionnaire can have open ended or as well as close ended questions. The responses are freely written in the case of open ended questions and are difficult to summarise. On the other hand, close ended questions are highly structured responses, to be ticked by the respondents. These kind of questions, though they take less time, restrict the freedom of response of respondents.
