Cash Flow From The point of View of the Contractor and of the Owner/Client

The general scenario of construction through contracting out, as it happens in India, may be described as under. An "owner"  organisation wishes to get a particular construction done, a project executed, a supply to be made, a project report to be prepared, and any such situations. It is believed that engineering feasibility, economic feasibility, financial feasibility, social feasibility and political-municipal  feasibility have been worked out in detail. The site of construction, the hydraulic, hydro logical, geological, and related investigations, as may be relevant, have been carried out and no impediment is expected in the execution, nor any difficulties due to ecological and environmental constraints. It is also taken that the needful inputs would be available as and when programmed for and that infrastructural, logistic, warehousing, and safety aspects and facilities are assured, or can be put into place. Approval from the civil administration and financial tie-ups would be available in time for work to proceed once started. Detailed designs, drawings and specifications have also been carried out or drafted and quantity estimates and unit rates of work are established. The supervisory staff and the needful administrative staff would be available commensurately  and well in time. Staff attitudes will be conducive to smooth functioning and execution with solving any problems creatively, indicatively, legally and morally acceptably and without let or hindrance.
