According to an informed estimate, almost 50% of the complex automation projects fail. The reasons why computerisation projects fail are many. Some of them are as follows :
- The organisation selected the wrong software,
- The materials staff was not convinced with the reasons for the automation plan,
- The materials staff was not motivated to make the change to automation, and
- The company didn't provide adequate training on the software.
